
DPC Pro Hair Removal is a technology developed specifically for hair removal, able to treat all skin types.. How many sessions do I need?
A series of approximately 7-10 sessions will be required *individual results vary
How far apart are the sessions?
Sessions will be spaced every 4-6 weeks or 6-8 weeks depending on the body parts being treated
Will all of my hair be gone?
The average loss of hair at the end of consecutive sessions , following the interval periods recommended is about 70-95%
Does laser hair removal work on all hair colours?
Unfortunately the laser is unable to target white, grey, blonde and some shades of red hair.
Will it hurt?
Pain level varies from person to person depending on their individual pain tolerance. The Sharplight DPC Pro is equipped with a -8°C Peltier Sapphire Cooling Tip, ensuring a comfortable treatment experience every time.
What skin colours does your laser treat?
All skin colours can be treated with our laser as we have a Flow mode that can treat all skin colours safely and effectively!
Are there any restrictions for who can be treated?
Unable to treat patients who are pregnant, nursing, on Accutane within last year. Not suitable for patients with white, blonde or grey hair.
Preparation:
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for several weeks leading up to your appointment.
Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your session.
Refrain from waxing, plucking, or using depilatory creams on the area to be treated.
Ensure your skin is clean and free of lotions, creams, or oils before your appointment.
Aftercare:
Protect the treated area by applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) to prevent sun damage.
Use a mild, fragrance-free cleanser to wash the area, and gently pat it dry.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, and intense physical activities for a few days post-treatment.
Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water and applying a suitable moisturizer.
